A used 40ft ISO container fitted with S1 flat panel doors offers the cheapest route to a very large, very secure store that is genuinely pleasant to use. The S1 door is fabricated from 3mm steel plate, thicker than the 1.6mm used on standard container doors, and closes on a single locking bar – so it is both more secure and far lighter to swing than an original cargo door. The container beneath is FG grade ex-shipping line stock: sound, watertight and honestly weathered.

Ideal For
School and college grounds stores, sports clubs and community organisations, allotment and charity groups, and households needing serious overflow space during a renovation. The easy door action is the deciding factor for most buyers here – if the store is opened daily by staff or volunteers, S1 doors are the ones people thank you for. Note that the modified door set means this unit is intended for storage and conversion rather than onward shipping.
Delivery Across the UK
We deliver used 40ft containers throughout the UK using crane-equipped lorries so the unit is placed, not pushed, into position. Sites need firm ground, an entrance around 3m (10ft) wide and enough room for a long vehicle to turn and leave forwards. Tight or unusual access is not a problem if we know about it early – smaller dedicated vehicles can often be arranged.
